The School for Life Foundation, with support from The Phillips Foundation, has been conducting a village outreach program to educate young women on menstruation and provide access to the reusable MHM products that we funded.
The Community & Welfare team have continued distributing menstrual hygiene kits and conducting menstrual health management (MHM) workshops for hundreds of girls in our surrounding communities.
These workshops have been a great way to bust myths and misconceptions about menstruation that have kept girls home from school. We will be sharing more about this initiative soon!
We’re delighted to share a photo of the School for Life team in a local school today, who were with students as they learned to sew, plus education and outreach, ensuring young women receive equal access to education. It’s such an important initiative and we’re delighted to be playing a small role.
