In June, there has been a surge in COVID cases in Uganda and sadly, another country-wide lock down has been instated by the Government.
As of June 7, schools were required to shut down for 42 days, so educators are now focusing their attention back to weekly home learning packs and deploying staff to re-engage in small group learning.
The Phillips Foundation is committed to creating educational opportunities for young people, and has committed to helping the School for Life team build a new boarding school in Uganda.
If you’d also like to assist, and can chip in just $28 to buy a brick, your donation will be doubled AND will help them build a brighter future for our aspiring young men.
“We challenge and stretch our boys to grow, teach them how to communicate effectively with people from all walks of life and to respect women and girls.”Joseph, Head Teacher of Katuuso Primary School at School for Life
