Today we celebrated International Women’s Day and some inspiring people who are truly making a difference.
Connect with Compassion ran a great event in Wangaratta, which made us all more aware and compassionate towards the plight of women in impoverished countries.
The night highlighted the amazing work done by the 7 Women project in Nepal, and Baliwise, and the scholarships now being available to help young women be educated and attain a vocation.
It was great to see our friend Sarah Johns win the Young Teacher of the year at the School Sport Vic awards. We also attended another great event this week in support of Razor Ray Chamberlain and his work with mental health.
